We had to make the most of our trip home. I have always wanted to visit Mammoth Cave, but there never seems to be time as we are driving by...so we made time!
Here they are inside that magnificent cave! They were afraid at first because it was so dark and we had to take so many stairs down. They were afraid to talk outside of a whisper, but then we all got used to the deep, dark. It was absolutely fascinating!
Back to the surface! Back to the road!
Crossing over the Ohio River into Ohio once again. Don't worry, we will be back again next summer for more fun in the southern sun!!! Love you guys!!!
Good for you guys! That looks so cool! I am glad they braved the cave :) Just don't let them see the movie, "The Cave" or they never will go in one again!
ReplyDeleteWe had a blast seeing you guys! We went over to C and P's the other night and Calyn started running around calling out, "Car-leee? Tator? Da-yin? Loooor-eee?" It was so sad.
