Our children were thrilled when we went to the "Duck Dynasty" warehouse in Monroe, LA. Who knew Nana and Papa lived so close to where the best show in the world is filmed?
We finally got to meet little Paris. What a happy baby! She even liked Tim! We absolutely have to get to Idaho to see her again soon. She recently started walking.
Our Christmas in the Bayou was fantastic! It was so good to see everyone and be with those cute little Mangum kids.
Dallin got his braces off after 2 1/2 long years of wires and rubber bands.
The Big Day finally arrived! Here we go...
Totally worth it! He looks so handsome!
Taylor participated in a Quad Stake scripture chase. Our ward did great!
There were 3 rounds: the first consisted of key words to the Scripture Mastery scriptures and the students had to locate the correct scripture. The second round they had to write the Scripture Masteries, and the third round they were given real-life scenarios and had to locate a Scripture Mastery that would help them through that scenario. Wonderful event!
And the Easter Bunny found us and sent us on a wild goose chase for our baskets and a cold egg hunt. We can't wait for Spring to actually arrive so the temperatures will finally warm up and our trees start showing signs of life again.
Love you all!
What a wonderful post!We are so glad we live so close to the greatest show on earth, didn't know that!!! The Easter Egg Hunt looked very cold but very fun, I have always want to participate in that hunt! Maybe someday! The Scripture Chase --- what a great experience, we used to have them but no more. Our director changed everything, not sure if it works as well. Dallin, you are a handsome dude, so happy for you to finally get those braces off, oh, what a relief it is!!! We are so thankful that you came for Christmas, what a great time, thank you for coming!!! Paris is precious, so cute and cuddly, a real sweetheart! Our new baby is just a sweet, such a little sweetheart!!!
ReplyDeleteVery cool post SueSue. Loved being with you guys out in Tennessee. Dallin makes braces cool. Love the picture of Taylor in her dress- on the floor- chasing scriptures. (Mark)
